Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae Singers was born on 26 February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. In the cult film of the same name Shottas the actor starred alongside Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996 Like Father Like Son and several singles, including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) and Sensimelia All of these contributed to his increasing popularity among the new wave of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani and Praswell from the Fugees were joined in 1997 to record Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue.
